In Memory of Bill ChrismanOctober 19, 2024 · Frank Zhao
My dear friend, Bill Chrisman, passed away on September 28, 2023. Today, as I came across a photograph of us together, memories of our friendship flooded back, prompting me to reflect on the profound impact he had on my life.
Bill was the epitome of a true friend - always there when I needed him most. The saying "A friend in need is a friend indeed" perfectly encapsulates his character. Over the years, he consistently offered his support, not just once or twice, but numerous times, demonstrating unwavering loyalty and compassion.
When I embarked on my ambitious journey to develop technology for applying images on balls that could withstand use, Bill was my greatest cheerleader. From the very beginning, he encouraged me, celebrating every small milestone along the way. His belief in my vision was a constant source of motivation.
It brings me both joy and sorrow to recall that when the technology was finally developed, tested, and approved, we received orders for two full containers of these innovative balls. Tragically, just two months after this significant achievement, Bill passed away. In his final act of kindness, he ensured he could offer me one last gesture of support before his departure.
Words cannot fully express the depth of my gratitude to Bill. His friendship, support, and unwavering belief in me have left an indelible mark on my life and career. As I continue to move forward, I hope that Bill, wherever he may be, can see the positive impact he had on my life. To my dear friend Bill: I love you and miss you. I hope you're at peace, knowing that I am doing well, largely thanks to your incredible support and friendship. Your legacy lives on in every success I achieve.
