Tonight marked the conclusion of the inaugural PBA China Regional Tournament “Salute to Pioneers”—and what an electrifying finish it was!
Championship Trophy: Jie Wang, a talented spinner from Shanghai. His precision and control over every roll turned each frame into a showcase of skill, solidifying his victory.
First Runner-Up: Otto Leung, a powerhouse right-handed bowler from Hong Kong. His unwavering consistency across the tournament left audiences in awe, earning him the second place.
Second Runner-Up: Qinglong Xu, a smooth two-handed player from Dalian. He delivered an impressive show from start to finish.
This tournament was exclusively open to bowlers who have earned PBA membership through the Pioneers Program since 2014—a community of dedicated bowlers who truly embody the passion, resilience, and sportsmanship at the heart of bowling. In total, 21 players competed, each bringing their A-game to make this inaugural event one to remember.
Huge congratulations to all three medalists for their hard work and sportsmanship, and a heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported this landmark PBA China regional event.
